The Mahaska County Conservation Board invites adults of any age to the O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Livelier Souls) Lunch and Learn program Friday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Quercus Wilderness Area.

This county park is located at 3139 Kent Ave. in Oskaloosa. This month, participants will meet in nature and enjoy a picnic lunch. Picnic tables, shade trees and restrooms are available on site. If interested, participants can take a short walk and look for spring wildflowers. Participants will need to bring their own lunch.

Participation is free and reservations are needed. Contact MCCB at 641-673-9327 or decook@mahaskacountyia.gov. to sign up.
