Not only does this Clarendon spot offer a number of places to roam about — including the rooftop bar — but their slushy cocktails are another draw. There’s nothing like a Chuy’s happy hour. Not only do you get deals on the Tex-Mex cuisine, but the margaritas and cocktails will make any weeknight feel special. Sure, you can get your strawberry margarita on the rocks — but take it from us, the feeling of a frozen Chuy’s marg in the summer can’t be beat. Using a state-of-the-art cold-pressed juice machine, Nectar can bring you the cocktails and mimosas sure to delight all summer long — including the frozen margaritas. This spot is located in the Sterling Collective space, so you can start your morning with a biscuit at Daybreak Kitchen and Biscuit Company, eat a flavorful taco for lunch at Señor Ramon Taqueria, and then wind down with a craft beer from Crooked Run. 22455 Davis Dr. Sterling

At this shop conveniently attached to shopping mecca Bloomie’s, you can begin and end your day the Cuban way. Start your morning with some Havana cold brew and a breakfast sandwich, then finish it by returning for a pina-colada slushee. What’s a wine bar without frozee? Luckily, you’ll never have to find out thanks to Screwtop. But they don’t stop at their frozee (which is a mix of strawberry puree and rose wine). For another summer experience, try the frozen pineapple sangria, filled with pineapple, passionfruit, mango, and white wine. While you might head to Solace Brewing for its great selection of beers — also refreshing for a summertime drink — don’t overlook the frozen drinks, like the mango fro-mosa, a frozen mango mimosa.
